OFFICIAL AWARD

The support of supporting officials is vital to the success of our local sports!

This award recognises the contributions of sport officials across the Sunshine Coast and Noosa regions.

Nominations are encouraged from all officials in all sports recognised by Sport Australia.

Officials can self-nominate or be nominated by another person!

Three awards are available each quarter.

Nominations will be assessed on two criteria:

• The significance of the official’s development and progression within their sport (e.g. officiating at state or national leagues, invited to officiate at major events etc).
• Leadership in developing other officials and contribution to the growth of the Sunshine Coast officiating community(e.g., mentorship of developing officials, positive attitude, representation on officiating committees etc).
