Get your nominations in for the Quarter 1 2022 (January – March) Sunshine Coast Sports Awards!
The awards uphold Sunshine Coast Sports’ core values and commitment to the development and progression of our sportspeople.
Nominations will be assessed by an independent panel of experienced sports administrators from the Sunshine Coast and Noosa regions.
In 2022, a comprehensive suite of Quarterly and Annual awards are on offer!
The five quarterly award categories are:
- Next Gen Athlete Award
- Open Athlete Award
- Volunteer Award
- Official Award
- Coaches Award
Nominations are now open and we encourage the local community to get behind our young athletes so they get the recognition they deserve!
Who can nominate?
To be eligible for an award, nominees must be:
- A permanent resident, both during and outside of competition periods, of the Sunshine Coast or Noosa local government areas; or
- Represent or be a life member of a sporting club or association based on the Sunshine Coast or Noosa local government areas; or
- Live away from the Sunshine Coast or Noosa local government areas solely to attend tertiary education or to participate in a recognised high performance pathway aligned to a sport governing body.; or
- Have at least one parent who resides permanently on the Sunshine Coast or Noosa local government areas and the nominee has been attending tertiary education or participating in a recognised high performance pathway aligned to a sport governing body over the preceding four years.
