TEAM OF THE YEAR 2025
The Team Of The Year award, proudly presented by UniSC, recognises the team that has achieved the highest sporting performance and demonstrated exemplary team leadership over the annual period.
Nominations are encouraged from all teams from any category, in all sports recognised by Sport Australia.
Teams can self-nominate or be nominated by another person or team (e.g., coach, team manager, friend, relative).
Nominations will be assessed on the following performance criteria during the Annual Awards period (from 1 October 2024 to 30 September 2025):
1. The significance of the team’s development and progression within the year
2. Demonstrated leadership as a team
The Award nomination period closed on Wednesday 8th October 2025 and the Judging Panel are currently assessing all the nominations. Finalists will be advised early November and Award Recipients will be announced on Thursday 20th November 2025 at the Sunshine Coast Sports Annual Awards celebration at Altitude Nine.
